Villagers have passed a resolution asking People not to speak with the local MLA. This could be very surprising but such thing has happened in Telangana itself.
Alur Villagers allege their region wasn't made mandal in the recent delimitation of districts only because of the negligence of Armoor MLA Asannagari Jeevan Reddy. They say, Alur received Mandal status in the draft released by TRS Government. However, The decision wasn't implemented due to political reasons citing lack of resolution.
Villagers believe MLA's foreign tour at this crucial period has costed them dearly. As a result, A resolution was passed by Village Welfare Committee asking people not to speak to the Legislator at any cost.
Asannagari Jeevan Reddy contested in 2014 Polls on TRS Ticket. He won with a margin of 13,000 votes against Congress candidate KR Suresh.
