AIADMK General Secretary Sasikala Natarajan brings the life of an ordinary prisoner in Parappana Agrahara prison, Bengaluru. She does not like VIP treatment while serving the sentence.
A Chennai-based lawyer filed an RTI application seeking details on the facilities in which Sasikala in prison Bengaluru. In response to the RTI query, the DIG (Prisons) MP Rajavelayutham informed Sasikala was intended television set and they can not use the facilities such as air conditioning, separate bathroom, bed, mattress, Water Heater, Home cooked food and bottled water.
Prison authorities informed AIADMK Deputy Secretary-General TTV Dinakaran Sasikala could meet on February 20. The Mulaqat took 35 to 40 minutes.
Asked whether Sasikala's Camp Karnataka government sought to carry the three convicts to Chennai Central Prison, the authorities clarified no application now come to their knowledge.
